Dog Wheelchairs - Front End Extensions Assist Weakened Front Legs
Front-End Extensions for existing customers are available to convert a rear support wheelchair into a Quad Support Chair. For pets that are unable to use their regular wheelchair due to increasing weakness of the front legs, the front-end extension allows your pet to get the additional support he/she needs. A front-end extension includes a front support sling, belly strap if you do not already have one and a frame to support the front of your pet. Please call or email for required measurements needed to build a front end extension.

OH I am so excited !! Andy's wheels arrived today. Hubby did SAR whileI put him in the sling and showed him the new support I could have walking with him. He was really happy with the sling in my hand for support, soooo we hooked him up. He is Chai tea!! Spicy, hot and never looked back. He ran down the drive when I went to get some goodies for him (I did read your instructions honest !!) Hubby couldn't hold him at the top of the drive he just wanted to go!! He can spin it to turn, walk, trot and RUN forward and even figured out he could sit in it, AND get back up !! He will have to learn the boundries when turning into the barn or garage, but it will happen. He is so happy his tail wagged for the first time in months!! He is not paralized, just had some tough balance issues with his stiff leg Xing and tripping up the other one sending him tumbling. Since the other one is severly dysplastic it too has support issues to contend with. When he fell he couldn't get back up without a huge struggle or assistance. So he had not lost the ability to "walk". Just the ability to go fast and have fun with the other dogs and a quality of life. I know not all dogs will be two minute wonders, but this product is perfect for him!!!
